Those donations can be in the form of money to help our programs or in the form of labor to help us raise money during our larger charity events.

We also have three programs that we graciously accept donations - AmTryke Program, Scholarships for Therapists and Legacy Foundation.

The AmTryke Program assists children and veterans with obtaining a specialized bicycle for their specific needs to enable them to ride a bike.  Each bike ranges in price from $300 - $2,500.  The bikes are given free of charge to all recipients, Springfield ABC raises funds through the Illinois State Fair Grandstand, various fundraisers and community support.

Scholarships for Therapists is a program wherein Springfield ABC strives to provide scholarships for Junior and Senior college students pursuing careers in Physical and Occupational Therapy.  It is our goal to contribute $500 - $5,000 scholarships annually.  The assistance we can offer one therapist has the potential of assisting hundreds of children and veterans in the future.

The Legacy Foundation was established as a program of perpetual funding as well as to allocate long-term funds provided by the Club from fundraising endeavors, from gifts, and from bequests of members and friends.  The Legacy Fund was sought to make contributions go a "mile deep" instead of spreading them a "mile wide".
